Institute History
Malaviya Regional Engineering College Jaipur was established in 1963, jointly by the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan. On 26 June 2002, it was elevated to the status of a National Institute of Technology. Later, on 15 August 2007, it was recognized as an Institute of National Importance through an Act of Parliament. The Institute is fully funded by the Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya), Government of India.
Institute Motto and Vision Statement
The institute's motto is "योग: कर्मसु कौशलम" and its vision is to create a centre for imparting technical education of international standards and conduct research at the cutting edge of technology to meet the current and future challenges of technological development.
About Campus
Located in the heart of Jaipur, the campus spans 317 acres, featuring a picturesque landscape. The Institute offers all essential amenities for community living, including a staff club, primary health center (dispensary), bank, post office, shopping complex, gymnasium, playing fields, guest houses, and canteen.
